Vintage at Goodwood 2010

August 24, 2010

Have you heard of it?  You can be forgiven for saying no, because Vintage at Goodwood is held in the UK, but its first annual event was on the 13-15 August and is all about British Vintage.  There is no decade particularly favoured, so anything from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s is all the go.  There is music, design and lots of Vintage!

Ok Magazine published some photos of the fashion they found and I couldn’t help but notice that in this one of Lucy Catherine and her friend Natalie Helland that Lucy is wearing Vivian Holloway. And what else would you combine with your vintage Vivian Holloway swing dress, but gumboots!  It is and English Festival after all!

But this is not the only Vivian Holloway we found gracing the festival.  I also found this picture of Flur de Guerre, whom you may recognise as one of the models for lots of Vivian’s fantastic dresses, shirts and pants.  I love her shoes too, I guess it was dryer on that day!
