How to get 6 new outfits, for just $25!

October 19, 2010

Have you heard of The Clothing Exchange?  If you haven’t then it is definitely worth paying attention!

Think about a great big shop full of clothes, you simply buy a ticket ($25) and then you go and select up to six items of clothing, plus share a glass of bubbles!

Happy Swappers at The Clothing Exchange

Here is how it works:

You take six items of clothing that you no longer love from your wardrobe, and you take them to the event and check them in, you will then get a button for each item.  You then exchange your buttons for new garments that others have brought in.  There are rules though, such as only three garments can be taken to try on at once, so that everyone has a chance to get a successful swap!

There are also guidelines on what you can bring, so the trackies are out, but that is not to say you have to have the hottest brand names either!  If I wasn’t away this upcoming weekend I would definitely be there!

Each of the participating states is holding an event for National Swap Day being Monday 25th October.  If you are interested you can purchase tickets online from The Clothing Exchange, which is recommended as some venues have limited numbers.  Check in is 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start.
