The ‘dress’ that everyone wants…

Black 'Pearl Lowe' Dress

Sorry about yesterday! I am glad to be back today, and I have an interesting story of a 35 GBP dress that is so popular that the designer just cannot keep up.

Here at Covelli, we understand the love of the vintage style ‘tea dress’ and they are consistently one of our best sellers, but this fashion trend has hit the recent London and New York Fashion shows.  Not necessarily on the models, who are sporting some vintage fashion trends, but this time, on the attendees.  But what would make a celebrity select a 35 GBP dress (that is about $70AUD) over the leading fashion designs?

A brilliant sexy and flattering little number with a trim tight waist and pretty lace details that accentuate the figure and femininity of the wearer.  The dress shown here is designed by Pearl Lowe for a high street fashion store called Peacocks.

The dress was seen by celebrities at the two fashion weeks and prompted many to ring the store or contact the designer to buy one.  This includes Courtney Love, Sharlene Spiteri and Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia.  It has also had plenty of air time and was worn last week on morning television by Holly Willoughby.

So where do you get one?  Well I am afraid to say that it sold out online in just two hours.  There were even queues at the store for the dress.  Never in the store’s history has such a dress been so popular.

But do not worry, you can still get a tea dress from Covelli.
