The latest in shoe trends…

The greatest thing about shoes is that you can almost wear any style at any time, but there are definitely trends that you can follow too, and this one is well worth knowing about if you plan to go to the Spring Races this year.  So far we have seen an almost wash out with the Caulfield Cup with chilly weather keeping attendances low and last weekend there was plenty of rain too.

So what does this have to do with your shoes?  Well the latest trend to appear is low heels.  Designers like Prada, Valentino and Jimmy Choo all bringing out the little heel in their new collections.  From pumps to slingbacks, from plain to studded or bow decorated these little heel shoes are making quite an indent!

If you are thinking about going to the races and the track is declared ‘heavy’ it is a good chance that all the grounds will be damp and soggy, so to save your shoes choose little heels, wedges or fatter heels to stop that ‘sinking’ feeling!

So here are my two favourite new season ‘low heel’ shoes from Vogue UK:

The shoes here are two of my favourites, the ones on the left are Tabitha Simmons and on the right are very classy and cute Prada low heels. Photos from Vogue UK
