Paint the town RED

October 10, 2011

Lipstick has always been a part of the fashion industry since the Egyptians used henna to paint their lips. It brings out a woman’s vibrant persona in a flash. It makes every woman look fresh and blooming throughout the day or night. In other words, it’s instant sexiness – a slick of glamour in a stick or in a tube. Even without any make-up on, if you just have your everyday lipstick inside your purse, you’re already good to go.

It is imperative that you choose the perfect lipstick color that suits you. If you want your lips to be given the attention they deserve, you definitely have to go with red lips. The most important thing to consider when wearing red lipstick is picking the right shade. All reds are not created equal, finding the right one for you and wearing it properly will make all the difference. You too can have fabulous, kissable lips.

Red lipstick is a universal classic that encompasses women from all generations. From popular Hollywood icons such as Marilyn Monroe in the 50’s to Nicole Kidman in the 80’s up to contemporary actresses like Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz, and Scarlett Johansson.  Throughout history, only the most beautiful and confident women have dared to wear this crimson shade of power and beauty.

Majority of women nowadays assume that they can’t wear bright red lipstick because of the overwhelming feeling of glamour and attention it brings to them. They feel like they are not suited for the strong image that it evokes. They’re wrong. Although wearing bright red lipstick really carries a certain responsibility with it, it’s not actually that much of a burden. You just have to know how to get it right and be comfortable with it.
