Relieving the Extravagance of Met Ball 2012

It has been two months then since the most outlandish and the most stylish event took place, but that doesn’t killed our longing and aspiration to the beautiful stars who walked down the red carpet.

Costume Institute Gala (or Costume Institute Ball), known as the Met Ball or Met Gala is an annual ball that celebrates the annual opening of the Metropolitan Museum’s fashion exhibit. The most sought after event where celebrities arrive in the red carpet with their most glamorous look is considered as the “Night of the Night” for fashion critics and writers. Others would even brand Met Ball as the “Oscars” in the world of Fashion. This annual event has been highly regarded as the top social event in New York City and is hosted by Vogue.

Jessica Alba turned the beat around and went for a Greek Goddess look in Micheal Kors’ one shoulder dress gown. Her perfect tanned skin complemented well with the gold encrusted gown of hers.

She may don funky street clothes all the time but she never misses to be on her own style even in classy events. Rihanna opted Tom Ford’s stunning floor-length long-sleeved dress which showed her 90’s edge and glamour modern look.Rosie Huntington-Whiteley proved to be an angel as she fluttered her elegant shimmering long-sleeved gown by UK label Burberry. She may not had her beau at that moment, but her mere presence shook the whole ground.

Emma Roberts played it colorfully as she walked down the carpet with her egg yolk yellow dress with a pretty heart shaped neckline by Escada. She maintained class, maturity while keeping her young side.

Glee star Lea Michelle left her counterpart Rachel Berry and pulled of a steamy, sexy midnight blue sequinned gown with a sexy plunging neckline by Diane Von Furstenberg.  

Despite of some minor wardrobe malfunctions, Amazing Spiderman actress, Emma Stone proved once again how to have grace under pressure as she dazzles on her red floral appliqué custom-made number by Lanvin.  

The Singer-Actress and proud Momma Beyonce once again wowed the crowd.  After last year’s fishtail gown, Beyonce opted for another daring yet subtle look with sheer embellished Givenchy Haute Couture gown complete with black and purple feather detailing on the hem.
